Basic JavaScript


JavaScript is a popular programming language that plays an important role in frontend development. In this module, you will learn the fundamentals of programming, problem solving, critical thinking, and debugging. You will learn the importance of version control with Git and GitHub to ensure your code is stored safely and easily shareable with other developers.

Module 2

Advanced JavaScript

Advanced JavaScript

Building off the foundations set in the first module, you will dive into more intermediate concepts, including ES6, object-oriented programming, data structures, callbacks, closures, error handling, Node.js and NPM, command line, module importing, and testing.

Module 3

Design & UI/UX


Being a good frontend developer means having good design and UI/UX skills. Learn design thinking, UI architecture, design principles, style guides, ideating and designing, interaction design, UI/UX testing, and how to wireframe and prototype your ideas,

Module 4



In this module you will learn the fundamentals of web design, DOM manipulation, Lighthouse testing and accessibility, how to place and arrange elements on a page to bring your ideas to life, and how to style those elements with an emphasis on responsive design by writing custom CSS and utilizing Bootstrap. There will be a focus on mobile-first design and improving your UI/UX skills through industry-driven techniques.

Module 5



React.js is the most popular JavaScript library for building beautiful user interfaces and client-side applications and is in high demand in the industry. You will learn about components, React Hooks, how to take in user input with forms, how to route users with React router, how to make HTTP requests to APIs with Axios, how to authenticate with JSON Web Token, and how to bring it together to create impressive frontend applications.

Module 6

APIs & Web Services


Being a frontend developer isn't just about creating impressive user interfaces and user experiences, it's also important to bring data into an application from another resource and visualize that data. Learn about Web Services and the important role they play in frontend development, how to test third-party APIs with Postman, how to make HTTP requests and handle the response data coming back in a JSON format, and ensure requests are being authenticated correctly.

It is an opportunity to get more familiar with the tools you have learned, push yourself to great heights, implement proper UI/UX, and showcase your abilities to be a professional frontend developer.
