The Flex program is designed for those who are unable to stick to a normal class schedule and need the flexibility of working on projects at a pace that works with their schedule.

  • Lecture and demo videos that allow for students to get the information they need in an engaging way and code along to gain understanding of the content
  • Instructor communication and support for provided direction and answers to questions
  • Project requirements to build real-world applications
  • Clearly defined tasks to help with developer and application growth
  • Set project and task deadlines to maintain focus

Instructor feedback is important for students to learn and grow. Students will receive support from the dedicated instructors as well as get feedback on their graded submitted projects.

  • Students will be able to ask questions in Slack and get answers from instructors
  • Students will get one-on-one mentorship in a video call
  • It is important for students to know what they did well on a project, what areas they need to improve, and gain a better understanding of the code they wrote. For those reasons, all submitted projects will be graded and students will receive recorded video feedback on their code. The recorded video feedback allows students to see an instructor comb through their code and provide valuable insight.

Full Stack Development Flex Bootcamp

24 Weeks Flex

Schedule: Course content will be unlocked a week at a time, giving students the ability to complete the work at their own pace.

Learn Effectively: In order to get the most out of your experience with devCodeCamp, we will provide pre-recorded lecture and demo videos and clearly defined tasks and set deadlines to keep you focused on your ultimate goal. Students can expect Slack support from instructors as well as a weekly scheduled video call to get your questions answered.

It is important for our instructors to maintain frequent interaction with students to ensure everyone has good direction, whether it is learning the fundamentals or building applications. We use modern tools and technologies to interact with students, including:

Zoom. Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars

Visual Studio Code is the IDE used to write code, debug code, collaborate with others, and leave comments.

Slack. Slack is where work flows. It’s where the people you need, the information you share, and the tools you use come together to get things done.

GitHub. GitHub is a development platform inspired by the way you work. From open source to business, you can host and review code, manage projects, and build software alongside 40 million developers.

Trello. Infinitely flexible. Incredibly easy to use. Great mobile apps. It’s free. Trello keeps track of everything, from the big picture to the minute details.
